🐾 How do I get started with Paws in the Peach?
Just fill out our consultation request form, and we’ll be in touch to schedule a meet & greet with you and your pet!🐾 Do you offer a free meet & greet?
No, our consultations are not free. We charge $25 to meet your pets, discuss their needs, and ensure we’re the perfect fit for your family. This ensures our sitters are compensated for their time and effort in creating the best experience for you and your fur family🐾 Are you insured and background-checked?
Absolutely! Paws in the Peach is fully insured, and all of our sitters undergo background checks and extensive training before caring for your pets.
🐾What areas do you serve?
We currently serve Grant Park, Old Fourth Ward, Kirkwood, Decatur, East Lake, East Atlanta, South Decatur.
🐾 What payment methods do you accept?We accept Venmo and PayPal. Payment details will be included in your invoice. Gratuity is always appreciated and goes 100% to your caregiver.
🐾 Do you charge holiday fees?
Yes, a [insert amount] per visit/stay holiday surcharge applies to services scheduled on major holidays. -
🐾 Do I have to commit to a set schedule for dog walking?
Yes, our dog walking services are booked in monthly packages with a minimum commitment of one walk per week.🐾 What if my pet has special needs or medications?
No problem! We’re experienced in administering medications and accommodating special requests—just let us know what your pet needs.🐾 How do your dog walking packages work?
Dog walking is booked in monthly packages with a minimum of one walk per week to qualify for the discounted package rate.
🐾 What times are dog walks scheduled?
Dog walks are available Monday through Friday between 9 AM – 5 PM. Our standard time frame is between 11 AM – 3 PM
Exact visit times cannot be guaranteed.🐾 What if I need dog walking outside of weekdays?
Weekend walks are only available as drop-in visits and are not part of our weekday dog walking packages.

How often do you visit pets?
Cats: We require at least one visit per day.
Dogs: We require three visits per day unless they have another way to potty (e.g., doggy door).

What’s the difference between overnight sitting and the “Almost Overnight” package?
Almost Overnight: A 2-hour evening visit + 1-hour morning visit (great for independent pets who don’t need an overnight presence).
Overnight Stay: A 60 minute dinner visit and a sitter stays in your home from 9 PM to 8 AM for maximum companionship.
Can you stay for multiple nights?
Absolutely! Whether you need coverage for a weekend getaway or an extended trip, we’re here to keep your pet happy and loved.
Do I need to schedule midday visits separately?
Yes! Midday visits are not included in overnight stays and must be scheduled separately. We always recommend more visits to ensure your fur family acclimates well to you being away.

How will you access my home?
We require one of the following:
1️⃣ Lockbox (Available for purchase for $15)
2️⃣ Hidden Key (You disclose the location)
3️⃣ Electronic Lock CodeIf none of these options work, we can pick up or return a key for a $20 fee.
What if I live in an apartment or gated community?
We recommend:
Providing an access code if available
Leaving a key/fob inside your apartment for the sitter to use
As a last resort, arranging key pickup with the leasing office/concierge
